Candle Care
Candle Care Instructions
To ensure the best burn and longevity of your candles, please follow these simple steps:
-
Trim the Wick
Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This helps prevent excessive flickering, soot, and ensures a clean burn. -
First Burn
On your first use, let your candle burn for at least 2-3 hours. This allows the wax to melt evenly across the top, preventing tunneling and maximizing the candle's lifespan. -
Never Leave a Candle Unattended
Always extinguish your candle before leaving the room, and never leave it burning for more than 4 hours at a time. -
Keep the Candle on a Flat Surface
Always burn your candle on a heat-resistant, flat surface to avoid any accidents and ensure a steady, even burn. -
Extinguish Safely
Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame rather than blowing it out. This prevents wax splatter and helps preserve the scent. -
Clean Your Candle
Once the candle has cooled, clean the jar with warm, soapy water to remove any leftover wax or soot for reuse. -
Avoid Burning in Drafty Areas
Keep candles away from fans, open windows, or air vents to avoid uneven burning and to reduce the risk of fire. -
Store Properly
Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the wax from discoloring or softening.
