Candle Care

Candle Care Instructions

To ensure the best burn and longevity of your candles, please follow these simple steps:

  1. Trim the Wick
Before lighting your candle, trim the wick to about 1/4 inch. This helps prevent excessive flickering, soot, and ensures a clean burn.

  2. First Burn
On your first use, let your candle burn for at least 2-3 hours. This allows the wax to melt evenly across the top, preventing tunneling and maximizing the candle's lifespan.

  3. Never Leave a Candle Unattended
Always extinguish your candle before leaving the room, and never leave it burning for more than 4 hours at a time.

  4. Keep the Candle on a Flat Surface
Always burn your candle on a heat-resistant, flat surface to avoid any accidents and ensure a steady, even burn.

  5. Extinguish Safely
Use a candle snuffer to extinguish the flame rather than blowing it out. This prevents wax splatter and helps preserve the scent.

  6. Clean Your Candle
Once the candle has cooled, clean the jar with warm, soapy water to remove any leftover wax or soot for reuse.

  7. Avoid Burning in Drafty Areas
Keep candles away from fans, open windows, or air vents to avoid uneven burning and to reduce the risk of fire.

  8. Store Properly
Store your candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the wax from discoloring or softening.
